1 · What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They serve, for example, to remember your preferred language or to measure, in aggregated form, how many people read a page.
2 · Types of cookies we use
We use only two categories:
- Essential, required for the site to function (chosen language, banner acknowledgement). Do not require consent.
- Aggregated analytics, optional. Help us understand which content is read. Data is processed in aggregated form, without individual profiling.
3 · List of cookies
Our own cookies are prefixed with rds_:
- rds_locale, stores the chosen language. Category: essential. Duration: 12 months.
- rds_autoredir (sessionStorage), prevents repeated redirection to the browser language. Category: essential. Duration: session.
- rds_cookie_consent, records your choice on the cookie banner. Category: essential. Duration: 12 months.
4 · Third-party cookies
Some features rely on external services that may set their own cookies under their own policies:
- PayPal, when you use the donation button. Domain: paypal.com.
- Google Fonts, delivery of typography. Domain: fonts.gstatic.com.
- Payment providers (Wise, Revolut, Pix institutions), only if you choose to use them.
5 · How to manage
You may accept or decline non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit. At any time, you can: clear your browser cookies to redisplay the banner; use private/incognito mode; or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all offer their own controls).
Declining analytics cookies does not prevent use of the site.
6 · Updates
This policy may be revised when we change services or cookies. The last-update date is shown at the top.
